Gateway Fellowship Internship Program
At Gateway Fellowship Church, our passion is to become friends with the unconvinced through relational discipleship. With that vision, we will multiply disciples and train church planting teams to start churches in San Antonio and other strategic communities. Since Labor Day weekend 2007, God has grown our church from 8 adults meeting in a living room to now an average weekend attendance of 450 people meeting in a movie theatre. We are excited to offer the GFC Internship Program to provide students with the opportunity of becoming a healthy follower of Christ who knows how to disciple others, learn the nuts and bolts of ministry, and actively serve others.
God continues to bless us, and we want you to consider being involved this summer with what God is doing here in San Antonio! Be warned however, church planting is contagious and Jesus may ruin you by calling you to a church planting team too.

Internship Goals
Spiritual Development: Becoming a healthy disciple of Christ who multiplies by making other disciples. We must get this right. Interns will be challenged to develop spiritual disciplines, engage in relational discipleship, and serve our community.
Self Discovery: Knowing your values, strengths, and calling are imperative to making a long-term difference for the Kingdom. God has called you to a specific work. Opportunity and teaching will take place for students to know who God has called them to be and how that translates to serving Him.
Servant Leadership: Serving others out of response to Gods work in you is the key to personal growth and spiritual leadership. Interns will be asked to serve in various capacities and model a servants heart. This is attitude and mindset should grow over the course of the internship.
